Inserting Assets

📥 Inserting All Assets at Once

Adding your Assets (textures, sounds, materials, or animations) to the project is very simple and significantly speeds up your creation process.

🔧 How to Insert Assets into the HUD

  1. Open your Second Life inventory.

  2. Select all the files you want to use (can be one or more of each type: textures, sounds, animations, materials).

  3. Drag these files directly into the Content tab of the HUD you are working on.

✅ Tip: Make sure you’re editing the HUD rezzed on the ground, not one that is attached.

🌐 How to Load Assets into the Creation Panel

  1. Access the creation panel of your HUD (the same link you received when starting the project).

  2. In the panel, click the ASSETS button (yellow button next to TARGETS).

  3. A new tab will open. Click SEARCH FOR ASSETS.

  4. Wait a few seconds...

💥 Boom! All the contents you dragged into the HUD will now be available in the panel for immediate use with just 1 click.

❓ Common Question

"Will my textures be visible to everyone inside the HUD?"

No! The files are only visible during the creation process. As soon as you finalize the HUD and click the FINISH! button, the system will:

  • Clean all contents from the HUD

  • Remove temporary files

  • Keep only what's essential for functionality

🔒 Result: your Assets remain secure, invisible, and protected from copying or external access.
