🔘 Creating a Button on Your HUD

🛠️ Steps to Create a Button
Link the prims that will be used as buttons to your HUD.
Name each button with something descriptive that clearly indicates its purpose.
🧠 Best practice: using names that describe what the button does helps a lot with organization.
Examples:
button_texture_1→ Applies texture 1button_color_blue→ Applies the color blue
⚠️ It’s not mandatory to follow this naming convention, but it’s highly recommended to make your life easier.
🧭 Updating the HUD in the Creation Panel
After adding or renaming your buttons, you need to update the panel so they appear:
Go to your HUD’s creation panel.
In the left sidebar, click the green
SCANorRE-SCANbutton.
🔄 This prompts the system to detect the current buttons on your HUD and display them properly in the panel.
🔧 Creating the Button’s Function
Once the buttons appear in the panel:
Click on the button name in the list.
The system will automatically create a function with the same name as the button.
Now you can configure that function however you like — apply texture, color, sound, animation, etc.
✅ That’s it: click the button → function is created → ready to configure.

🧠 Organization Tip
Always use clear and logical names for your buttons. This will prevent confusion and make maintaining your project much easier in the future
