ℹ️ Positioning Types

  • WORLD: Suitable for rezzed objects. Note that you cannot move an object more than 10 meters at once due to Second Life limitations. To move forward without knowing the exact position, use WORLD INCREMENT.

  • WORLD INCREMENT: Perfect for creating realistic movements. Moves an object relative to its current position. Example: <0, 0, 1> moves the object 1 meter up on the Z axis.

  • LOCAL: Ideal for moving linked prims relative to the root object, such as moving a button on a HUD precisely.

  • LOCAL INCREMENT: Moves a prim relative to the root object incrementally. Example: <0, 0, 1> moves a HUD button 1 meter up on the Z axis gradually.

⚠️ Limitations

  • You cannot move objects more than 10 meters from their original position in a single operation; make movements gradually.

ℹ️ Note: Fields marked with * are conditionally required. LINK is required only if the TARGET has multiple links.
